Support residents’ vision for walking and biking paths, parks and gathering places

What was accomplished:

Baseball

  • 19 Baseball Diamonds (CVAC)

  • 16 diamonds have new, Synthetic Infields enabling games despite rainy weather

  • 12 practice fields

  • 1 “Miracle Field” for individuals with disabilities (CVAC)

Soccer, Football, Lacrosse & “Ultimate Frisbee”

  • 14 multi-purpose fields (CVAC)

  • 3 indoor soccer fields (Carshield – In progress)

  • 3 outdoor soccer fields (Carshield – in progress)

Volleyball & Basketball

  • 6 Volleyball courts (outdoor, lighted) (CVAC)

  • 9 Basketball courts (indoor) that convert to 18 indoor volleyball courts at the Chesterfield Sports Complex

Hockey

  • 2 NHL sized rinks (Public and free style skating, too) at the Maryville Hockey Center

  • 2 rinks (Carshield – in progress)

Pickleball

  • 6 Pickleball courts (CVAC)

Playgrounds

  • 2 Playgrounds (CVAC)

  • Central Park

Fishing

  • Rivers Edge Park (CVAC)

  • Central Park

Walkways & Bike Paths

  • River’s Edge Park Trail (CVAC)

  • Monarch Chesterfield Levee Trail (CVAC)

  • Wetland Trails

  • Mountain Biking Trails (In progress at the CVAC)

Since my election, I have supported the expansion of our sports resources, our walking and bike paths, and our parks.  Many were funded through grant programs.

Chesterfield is now considered the “Nation’s Top Youth Sports Mecca!”

I will remain supportive of our sports resources, our walking and bike paths, and our parks, utilizing grant programs and private business participation.
